Hello Fellow Gallopers,
As I mentioned in my previous post, I had the opportunity of spending some time at the Butterfly World in Edinburgh. In addition to butterflies, it also houses a variety of snakes (mainly Pythons), reptiles and other insects.
Pythons are non-venomous snakes that are found in Africa, Asia and Australia and 17 species have been identified so far. In addition to snakes, one gets an opportunity to get up-close to tarantulas, locusts, lizards and leaf cutter ants.
Spending time there offered me a unique opportunity to capture these marvelous creatures in a way I might not have been able to in the wild. Or maybe I might not have been too comfortable getting this close to them in the wild 🙂
