Ben Ledi – Part 1

Hello Fellow Gallopers,

Saturday was a brilliant day to be outdoors and to be close to Nature without getting frozen over. Blue skies, fluffy white clouds and plenty of sunshine. So when I got an opportunity to go mountain climbing and take photographs, on such an awesome day, I grabbed it with both hands.

Travelled to the Trossachs hills, 5 miles north-west of Callander, near the village of Kilmahog (what a great name that is!!) to scale the heights of Ben Ledi, a mountain that forms part of the Scottish Highlands. The Trossachs are said to have some of the most romantic scenery in the Highlands and if what I saw and captured on my camera is anything to go by, it certainly lives up to its reputation.

Why take my word for it – see for yourselves the beauty of the Trossachs. Today’s set showcases images* taken on my way up to the top of Ben Ledi and my next post will contain images from the top.

Till next time, take care and gallop free.
